Welcome to my Narrative Blog Post! My name is Winny and for the past couple of years, I have been working on putting together a Narrative Unit (including character and genre) complete with 2450 pages of of programs, lesson plans, PowerPoint Presentation Slides, exemplars, Instructional Videos, Observation and Assessment sheets, Unit Overview & Weekly Timetable, Report Comment Bank and Homework booklet.
After exactly 367 hours (or over 9 weeks of full time work) 😲🤯, this interconnected unit covers reading, writing, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.
Best of all, it can be used with ANY text, making it a versatile and valuable resource as well as giving teachers the freedom to choose the books that best suit their class.
I have enjoyed putting this unit together including creating, filming and editing videos to support student learning inside and outside of the classroom. This is why all my narrative writing + grammar & punctuation videos include learning intentions, lesson purpose, differentiated success criteria and What A Good One Looks Like.
